In-person

One catalog, one stock count, one POS — across the counter and the storefront.

When a customer walks in, ring it up on the WhatsMenu POS. The same stock that's available online drops by one. The same sales report shows it. No reconciling two systems at the end of the day.

What it does

POS Cloud runs in any web browser — laptop, iPad, Android tablet — using your existing WhatsMenu catalog. You don't maintain a second product list. You don't export sales between systems. Stock, prices, modifiers, and tax rules are the same on both surfaces.

Who it's for

Any merchant with both an online catalog and a physical counter. A bakery taking walk-in cake orders. A clothing boutique fitting customers in store. A clinic checking patients out at reception. A pet shop with regulars dropping in for kibble. Online and offline drift apart fast when they live in two systems — POS Cloud keeps them in sync.

How it works

  1. Open the POS in any browser at your counter — login as staff with the right permissions.
  2. Add items to the cart by tapping the catalog or scanning a barcode (if your products have one).
  3. Take payment — cash, card, QR pay, bank transfer — and the receipt prints to your thermal printer.

When to use it

Use POS Cloud the moment you have any in-person sales channel — even just one walk-in a week. The sooner online and offline share one stock count, the less reconciliation work you do at month-end.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need special hardware?

No. POS Cloud runs in any modern browser. A thermal receipt printer is optional. Barcode scanners and cash drawers connect over USB or Bluetooth if you want them.

What if the internet goes down?

POS Cloud needs an internet connection to sync. We recommend a mobile hotspot as backup. For merchants in unreliable-network areas we suggest tethering to a 4G/5G phone.

Can different staff have different permissions?

Yes. Pair POS Cloud with Staff Accounts to limit who can apply discounts, void sales, or see daily totals.

Does it print receipts?

Yes. Connect any thermal receipt printer that supports the standard ESC/POS protocol — most 80mm or 58mm printers from Epson, Xprinter, Sunmi, or similar work.

Does it handle sales tax?

Yes — your tax rules from the storefront apply to POS sales too. SST in Malaysia, GST in Singapore, VAT elsewhere — set it once, applies to both surfaces.
