What it does

Create staff users from your dashboard. Pick a role (Cashier, Manager, Kitchen, Driver, or a custom role) which controls what they see and can do — view orders, take payments, edit products, see daily totals, manage refunds. Every action shows in the audit log so you know who did what.

Who it's for

Any merchant with more than one person operating the system. A restaurant with cashiers, kitchen, and a manager. A retail shop with weekend staff. A clinic with a receptionist and a manager. A florist studio with a couple of part-time helpers. Solo operators don't need this — but it's the first thing every growing merchant turns on.

How it works

  1. Add a staff member with their email and pick a role.
  2. They get an invite email and create their own password.
  3. They log in to a view scoped to their role — no access to billing, payment-gateway secrets, or merchant settings unless their role allows it.

When to use it

Create staff accounts the day you let someone else use the system — even your spouse helping out for a weekend. Sharing a single login leaves no audit trail and means anyone who leaves takes the password with them.

Frequently asked questions

How many staff accounts can I have?

It depends on your subscription. Most plans include unlimited staff accounts; check Settings → Subscription for your specific limit.

Can different staff see different stock levels or prices?

Stock and prices are global. What you control per role is who can edit them — cashiers see what's on offer, only managers can change prices.

What about drivers — can they have their own login?

Yes. The Driver role sees only orders assigned to them and updates delivery status from their phone.

Can I disable a staff account quickly?

Yes — one-click deactivate. Their session ends immediately. Useful when someone leaves on short notice.

Is there an audit log?

Yes. Sensitive actions (refunds, price changes, voids, payment edits) are logged with the staff member's name and timestamp.
