Fulfilment

Use Lalamove or Detrack as your delivery fleet — without paperwork.

When an order with delivery is placed, WhatsMenu hands it off to your chosen courier service. The driver picks up. The customer gets tracking. You stay focused on what you sell.

What it does

Connect Lalamove (or Detrack) once with your account credentials. From then on, every delivery order on your storefront triggers a courier booking automatically. The customer sees the rider's name and live tracking link in their order confirmation. You see the delivery status update in your dashboard.

Who it's for

Merchants who deliver but don't want to hire and manage their own riders. Florists sending fresh-cut bouquets across town. A bakery delivering custom cakes. A clinic dropping prescriptions to nearby patients. A retail shop fulfilling same-day orders within a 10 km radius. The economics work when the courier fee is small relative to the order — typical for orders above $50–80.

How it works

  1. Connect Lalamove or Detrack in Settings → Apps with your courier-account credentials.
  2. Set delivery zones, fees, and the courier vehicle type your business uses (motorbike, car, van).
  3. When a customer checks out with delivery, the booking is created automatically — no copy-paste between systems.

When to use it

Use third-party delivery when your order volume is too low to justify hiring full-time riders, but high enough that you don't want to drive every order yourself. Most merchants outgrow their own delivery hassle within the first month of online ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Which courier services are supported today?

Lalamove (Southeast Asia + selected markets) and Detrack (global, with regional rider networks). The integration list grows over time — check Settings → Apps for the live list.

Do I need a separate account with the courier?

Yes. You sign up directly with Lalamove or Detrack as a merchant — they bill you for each booking. WhatsMenu just handles the handoff so you don't paste order details twice.

Who pays the delivery fee?

You decide. Charge the customer (most common), absorb it (free delivery as a promo), or split it. The fee shows on the customer's order summary.

What happens if no rider is available?

You see the failed-booking notice in your dashboard and can re-try, switch courier, or self-deliver. Customers don't see the booking failure — only the final outcome.

Can I track the rider in real time?

Yes. Both customer and merchant see a live tracking link as soon as the booking is accepted by a rider.
