Tables organised into areas. Open an order on a table, add items as the customer orders, mark complete when they pay. Move an order between tables with one tap when guests change seats.
Takeaway
Counter-style ordering — no table needed. Pickup time defaults to your storefront's preset windows; staff can override. Receipt printer triggers on save.
Delivery
Capture address, schedule a delivery window, dispatch to Lalamove or Detrack. Same payment options as your online checkout — cash, card, or any of 20+ gateways.

POS, online storefront, WhatsApp ordering, and QR-code dine-in all write to the same orders table. A delivery placed online and a walk-in opened at the till show in the same dashboard. No second system, no sync delay.
Tables + areas + floor plan.
Group tables by area ("Patio", "Indoor", "Bar"). Enable the optional Floor Plan app to replace the card view with an interactive layout — drag tables into position, see status colour-coded at a glance.
Browser-based. Hardware-agnostic.
Runs on any modern browser — iPad, Android tablet, laptop, Sunmi terminal. Nothing to install. Staff log in with their staff account; managers and owners see additional menus.
Receipt printing and per-station routing.
Connect a thermal printer (ESC/POS-compatible) and orders trigger receipts on save. Configure per-station routing — drinks to the bar printer, kitchen items to the kitchen — through the Order Print app.
Coming through the inbox
AI Orders — orders parsed from messages, voice, and external channels.
On the roadmap: an AI Orders inbox for the POS — orders parsed from text or voice and queued for staff to review and accept into the regular order flow. Useful for high-volume restaurants taking phone-in orders, or for capturing orders from messaging channels that don't natively integrate. Pending orders will show a badge in the POS navbar so nothing falls through. Tell us if you want to be a pilot tester.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need separate POS hardware?
No. WhatsMenu POS runs in any modern browser, so any iPad, Android tablet, laptop, or Sunmi terminal works. A receipt printer (ESC/POS) is recommended but optional — orders show on the screen even without one.
Can dine-in, takeaway, and delivery run side by side?
Yes. The same POS instance handles all three. Set a default initial view (Order List, Dine-in, Takeaway, or Delivery) per merchant in Settings; staff can switch between them at any time.
Does the POS share menu and orders with the online storefront?
Yes — same database, same items, same prices. Edit a product once and it updates everywhere: storefront, dine-in QR, WhatsApp ordering, POS. An order placed online appears in the POS instantly.
Can I use a floor plan instead of the table card view?
Yes — install the optional Floor Plan app from Settings → Apps. It replaces the card view with a draggable interactive plan and shows table status (free / occupied / payment pending) colour-coded.
Can staff process payments directly from the POS?
Yes. Cash, card, online gateway link, or QR payment — all the payment methods configured for your storefront are available at the POS. Toggle "Order completed once paid" in settings to skip the manual completion step for fast-service venues.
What is AI Orders?
An inbox in the POS for orders parsed from external channels — voice notes, messaging app forwards, third-party platforms — queued for staff to confirm. AI Orders is on the roadmap, not yet generally available. Once shipped, confirmed orders enter the regular flow with all the standard fulfilment options. Reach out if you'd like to pilot the feature.
