Pricing & billing FAQ
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing pays for 10 months and gets you 12 — effectively two months free. Same features either way; pick whichever fits your cash flow. You can switch from monthly to annual at any time.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime from your dashboard. Upgrades pro-rate the difference for the current period; downgrades take effect at the next renewal so you keep what you paid for.
Is there a setup fee or any hidden cost?
No mandatory setup fee, and no per-transaction fee from WhatsMenu. Payment-gateway fees (charged by Billplz, Stripe, etc.) are separate and go directly to your gateway, not to us. Anything else is optional and charged only if you choose it: AI credit top-ups when you need more than your plan includes, and done-for-you services where offered, quoted separately.
What's included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes one product catalog, 100 items, 50 orders/month, online ordering, WhatsApp ordering, online and offline payments, and delivery and pickup options. Staff accounts, referrer program, and custom pages are on Sales Pro. Upgrade anytime — no data migration.
What currency are the prices in? What about taxes?
Subscription prices are in US Dollars. Taxes (GST, SST, VAT) depend on your jurisdiction and are added at checkout where applicable. Your customer-facing storefront can run in any local currency — that setting is independent of your subscription billing.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel automatic renewal anytime from your dashboard. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and payments already made are subject to our Refund Policy. After that your storefront is paused, so customers cannot view it or order, and subscribing again brings it back. A storefront that stays paused for more than 6 months may be deleted, and we email you at least 30 days before that happens, so export your data from your dashboard before you leave.
Is there a limit to how many products I can add?
The Free plan includes the number of items shown on its card. Paid plans marked Unlimited have no fixed item count for normal business use, subject to fair use. To keep every store fast, a very large catalog can reach a fair-use ceiling. Your dashboard shows a counter as you get close, and at the ceiling you cannot add more items until we agree a suitable arrangement with you. Reaching the ceiling does not delete anything you have added.
Will my Free store stay active forever?
It stays active as long as you log in or receive orders. If a Free store has no logins and no orders for 60 days in a row, it may be paused, and customers cannot view it or order until you reactivate it. We email you 7 days before, and logging in once or receiving an order starts the count again. To reactivate, log in and press Reactivate Store. It goes live again straight away, with your products, orders, settings and store link kept. A store that stays paused for more than 6 months may be deleted, and we email you at least 30 days before that happens.
