Customer experience

Verified post-order reviews — from real buyers, on your terms.

Every customer whose order is delivered or closed can leave a star rating and a written review — no account required. Show them on your storefront when you are ready, and build a verified reputation tied to real orders, with no drive-by ratings from people who never bought.

What it does

Reviews are collected per order. Once an order is marked delivered or closed, the customer is invited to rate it — on the order status page they already use to track it, by email, or through a review link you can drop into a WhatsApp message. They pick 1 to 5 stars; the written comment is optional. The dashboard shows your overall rating, the spread across one to five stars, your last 30 days, and how many reviews still need an answer. You can reply publicly to any review, hide one from your storefront without deleting it, feature the best ones, and filter down to the reviews that need you. When you are ready, switch on storefront display: your overall rating, the one-to-five spread and your most recent reviews — your replies shown underneath them — appear below your catalogue on every template. Your rating is published in a format search engines read, so Google can show stars beneath your storefront in search results.

Who it's for

Merchants whose reputation depends on the overall experience, not just the product itself. Cake studios, florists, clinics, beauty services, retail brands, and any merchant where fulfilment and communication matter as much as the items in the cart. Repeat-customer businesses (your regular café) build the data passively; first-impression businesses (wedding florists, custom orders) get the most leverage from it.

How it works

  1. Enable Reviews in Settings > Apps. That is the whole setup — reviews work for account holders and guest checkouts alike.
  2. Once an order is delivered or closed, the review prompt appears on the customer's order status page and an invitation goes out by email if you have customer emails switched on. They tap a star and submit — no third-party login, no account.
  3. Reviews land in your dashboard with rating, comment, customer name, order reference, and date. Reply publicly, hide or feature individual reviews, and get notified the moment a one- or two-star rating arrives so you can answer it the same day.
  4. Switch on storefront display once you have enough reviews to be worth showing — three by default. Add your Google review link at the same time, and customers who rate you four or five stars are offered a one-tap link to post the same review on Google.

When to use it

Turn it on early. Reviews accumulate quietly in the background, and storefront display holds itself back until you have collected enough to be worth showing — so there is no window where your storefront advertises a thin reputation. Merchants who wait until they need reviews start from zero at exactly the moment they would most like a rating to point at.

Frequently asked questions

Are reviews tied to specific products or to the order as a whole?

To the order as a whole. The customer rates the overall experience — what they got, how it arrived, how you communicated — with a single 1-to-5 star rating and a written comment. We don't ask per-item ratings: most customers skip them, and a single overall rating is a more honest signal of operational health.

Can only customers who actually ordered leave a review?

Yes — a review is tied to a completed order, so every reviewer is a verified buyer. Guest checkouts count: the link that opens their order status page also authorises their review. People who never bought have no order to review, so drive-by ratings are impossible.

Where do reviews appear today?

In your dashboard, and on your storefront once you switch display on. The storefront section carries your overall rating, the one-to-five spread and your most recent reviews with your replies underneath — on every template. It stays hidden until you have collected enough to be worth showing, three reviews by default. Hidden reviews never appear and are left out of the published average, so the rating on the page is the rating of what visitors can actually read.

Can I edit, hide, or moderate a review?

You can reply publicly to any review, hide one from your storefront while keeping it in your dashboard, or delete it outright. There's no pre-publish approval queue — reviews land in the dashboard as soon as they're submitted. Reach for a reply before a deletion: a calm, specific response tells future readers more than the complaint does, and heavy pruning erodes the trust signal you're building.

Can I import reviews from another platform?

Not directly. If you're moving from Shopify or Shopee, the reviews stay on the source platform. Most merchants accept this and start fresh — verified post-order reviews accumulate quickly once you turn the feature on.

Can I send customers to my Google profile?

Yes. Paste your Google review link into the Reviews settings and a customer who rates you four or five stars is offered a one-tap link to post the same review on Google. Customers who rate you one to three stars are not shown it — they have told you something went wrong, and the useful next step is you reading it and replying. Nothing is filtered either way: every rating counts towards your average and appears on your storefront, and nobody is prevented from posting on Google themselves.
