What is it

A storefront-grade catalog page with all your items, photos, prices (or "enquire for price"), and descriptions. Instead of an "add to cart" button, every item has a "Contact us" or "WhatsApp us" button that opens a pre-filled message about that specific product. You handle pricing, customisation, and closing in conversation — same as you do today, just with a much better catalog at the front.

How it works

  1. Build your catalog — items, photos, descriptions, optional prices or "enquire for price".
  2. In Settings → Operation Mode, pick "Showcase only". Cart and checkout buttons disappear automatically; contact buttons replace them.
  3. Configure the contact channel — WhatsApp, phone, or email. Each item gets a "contact us about this" button with a pre-filled message that includes the item name.

Can I show prices but still take enquiries by phone or WhatsApp?

Yes. You can display prices openly and still route enquiries through WhatsApp or call. Showing prices upfront often qualifies leads better — by the time they message you, they've already accepted the price.

Can I switch between catalog and ordering modes later?

Yes. Operation mode is a single toggle in Settings. You can run catalog-only during launch, then enable online ordering once you've validated demand. No data is lost.

Can I have some items as "showcase" and others as "buy now"?

The mode is per-storefront, not per-item. If you need a hybrid (e.g. ready-stock items buyable online + bespoke items contact-only), use online ordering mode and label the bespoke items "enquire only" in the description with a contact CTA.

How do I track which items get the most enquiries?

Each contact-button click is logged in your dashboard analytics, so you see which items drive enquiries. Items with high view-to-message conversion are your strongest catalog pieces — promote them harder.

Does this work for service businesses, not just products?

Yes. Photography studios show package examples, tutors list course outlines, clinics show treatments, agencies show services — anyone whose offering is a "thing to discuss" rather than a "thing to add to cart" fits the showcase pattern.
